Mixed Approach
-
We will leverage participatory journalism as a collaborative model to engage ordinary citizens to take an active role in collecting, reporting, analyzing, and disseminating data that will be reported as part of our stories. We will incorporate both multimedia and user-generated content (UGC), such as photos, videos, or first-hand accounts, which will be integrated into our mainstream reporting to provide diverse perspectives and enhance community engagement.
We are utilising this measure to ensure that the project embody the lived-realities of people whose stories we are covering.
-
We will incorporate the practice of monitoring, measuring, and communicating the tangible, real-world consequences of our stories, such as policy changes affecting it, civic engagement, or increased public awareness that came with the story. Through our training, we will ensure that we demonstrate how reporting holds power to account, informs communities, and drives action. Impact reporting bridges investigative journalism with accountability, highlighting how stories make a difference, and this is what we intend to achieve with the projects.
